We think it would be fair to say that we - as Indian Bengalis - love a life that is culturally enriching.

Our thirst for travel, our craving for food, our love for the arts and music, our political intellect, our passion for festivity is what makes us stand out from the rest of the world!

We also love nothing but hearty gossiping as well as taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane whenever possible.

It's with a tug at our heartstrings that we have to leave our motherland and come abroad to study, to work and to perhaps even settle down.

But regardless of wherever we live on the planet, we don't take long to form connections with one another through our shared love of Bengali culture.

And this is what Bilete Bengali is for - its aim to be the platform where we can reflect our foreignness with our Bengali-ness; where we can celebrate our love for Bengali culture, music and nostalgia and pass this on to the next generation so that they too can understand, experience and hopefully imbibe what being Indian Bengali is really about!
